Every Good Thing is DONE, you guys! For now, anyway. Written, edited, obsessed over, tweaked, tickled, teased, formatted, and prayed over. It’s caused some pretty heinous anxiety nightmares and the usual angst, but it’s in the hands of the Almighty ARCs now. I will patiently-ish await their verdicts, perform hopefully minor fixes, and soon release Every Good Thing into the world. Whew.
A huge thanks goes out to my trusted ARCs for reading and giving feedback. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙏🏻🥰🫶🏻
Every Good Thing hits virtual shelves by December 31st, but we hope to move that date up. 🤞🏻 Stay tuned!
Until then, the first book in The Saddletree Series (yes, that’s what I’m calling this duology), One Thing Better, is free to read (or reread) on Kindle Unlimited OR for Subscribers. There’s also Bonus Content to catch up on, if you haven’t already. Dot’s Soulmate Recipe is now available only to subscribers, and it’s like an inside peek into Every Good Thing and Dot’s character.
Yes No Maybe is also available on Kindle Unlimited. Jack’s Bonus Epilogue (only for subscribers) directly links that novel to Every Good Thing—you don’t want to miss how they connect!
Now, that’s all done, here are some fun things to think about to get into the spirit of the holidays, ripped from my archives:
🍪 Here’s a funny story about baking cookies with my daughter. You’ll never guess how she decorates her cookies. It’ll give you a giggle. Promise.
✍️ Other writers out there might like these: 📚 30 Romance Story Starters: Christmas Meet Cutes, and 🦃 25 Thanksgiving Writing Prompts (I really want to write a Thanksgiving love story one day—it’s on my list). What holiday-themed books are your favorite?
🗓️ Here’s my two cents on goals versus resolutions—it’s still working for me. With Every Good Thing coming out in December, I’ll have published two books this year, meeting my goal—that makes eight! And at least two more next year. 🤞🏻
But before I jump into goal-making for next year, I will breathe. Just breathe. 🧘♀️
Who am I kidding? I’ve already started on the next one… Yep, I’m on chapter two and hooked on Marnie and Grady in Just Missed the Kiss 💋 (working title–what do you think?), coming 2025 (the preorder will be available soon). THAT’s what I’ll be doing between eating turkey and buying Christmas gifts–getting romancey in my next book.
Until next time, what’s your favorite bookish gift to give or receive? Let me know!
Happy Reading!
