New Book Release (Sooner Than Expected!)

Every Good Thing, the standalone sequel to One Thing Better, will hit your eReader sooner than we hoped–Friday, December 20th instead of the 31st! Is it weird for a new book release to happen sooner than the preorder date? Yep, probably. But what better way to get through holiday drama than to immerse yourself in someone else’s?

Seriously though, this is a TOUGH READ! It’s a marriage-in-trouble story, dealing with mental health issues, that’ll probably wreck you, leaving you crying on the floor, before patting your head, and lifting you up again. Check your trigger warnings–it may not be for you. But if you loved One Thing Better and all that gritty, emotional angst, then you’ll probably love being reunited with Ben and Lena five years later.

Also, it’s a dual POV! This is truly Ben’s story, and it’s told through his eyes and Lena’s. Readers wanted more Ben–here he is!

Also, coming soon! Every Good Thing‘s Bonus Content! I apologize to my ARCs for not having it posted yet. I’m still tweaking (I keep getting inspired!). It’ll be available for subscribers in a few days.

A huge thanks goes out to my amazing ARCs, who gobbled up Every Good Thing on a short timeline! You’ve helped me make the book better, and enabled me to move my new book release up before Christmas. I’m especially grateful for Jenny (@jennyreadsalot4) for your insightful, detailed edits! Thank you so much! 💙 🩵

Oh, and ARCS–there’s a new chapter! After some amazing feedback from Tabitha (@helplessreads), I realized some crucial closure was missing. If you want to read the new chapter forty-one from Ben, reach out and I’ll send a new ebook.

More about Every Good Thing:

Falling in love is only the beginning.

I miss us. Those three words reveal what Lena’s feared for a while—her marriage to Ben is in trouble. Every good thing they’ve built together—their sweet family, Lena’s booming business, Saddletree Farm and Bakery Café—has taken priority over what’s gotten her here: Ben’s love and unwavering support. But when an accident uncovers a hidden side of Ben, Lena is shocked to discover that she doesn’t know her husband the way she thought she did. How can she feel close to him when he keeps his past a mystery?

Ben adores Lena and everything they’ve built together, but the closeness they once shared has faded behind daily pressures and his silence. He struggles to open up, and she’s too busy to notice. Beneath his rigid exterior, his hearing loss is worsening, threatening both his career and his battle with PTSD. As people from his past resurface, Ben’s sense of self erodes, pushing him deeper into isolation. Does the man Lena fell in love with still exist, or is it already too late to save him?

With Ben retreating into his pain and Lena unable to reach him, they face a heartbreaking truth: sometimes, letting go is easier than holding on.
