Say Hello to My Little Preorder & Other Christmas Surprises

Happy after-Christmas and pre-New Year’s! I hope this newsletter finds you warm, cozy, and enjoying MANY great reads over Winter Break. More on that soon, but first… say hello to my little preorder!

Yes No Maybe Preorder

I added the flowers because, you know, pretty. More good stuff is coming soon (cover, official release date, who’s starring in the movie), but the preorder blurb is solid if you want to check it out. I’m nearly done with the second draft. Two chapters until THE END, and I’m full of writer-energy, itching to finish it. Rowan and Jack have lassoed my heart and pulled tightly–Think… grumpy next-door neighbor, an off-limits relationship, a black cat named Edgar Allan Poe, scars that don’t heal, and the beauty of second chances. You’ll fall in love with them, too.

But for now, let’s talk Christmas surprises. I hope you had a few good surprises under the tree. I certainly did (maybe because I was a good author and got out two books this year!). Some highlights–books and desk toys!

Preorder After Christmas

New this year… the Ron Swanson Pop, a cool notebook, good pens and highlighters, a handmade jellyfish from my bean, and books, of course. I plan to catch up with The Thursday Murder Club Series by my friend Richard Osman (I call him a friend because he tweeted me once–BY NAME). The Agatha Christie will top off my mystery reading this winter because Agatha is always a good idea.

Throughout the years, I’ve discovered that the best parts of Christmas are what you don’t expect. What do you think?

More News…

Here are some gems from my new Pop Ron Swanson

“There has never been a sadness that can’t be cured by breakfast food.”

“Live your life how you want, but don’t confuse drama with happiness.”

“I was born ready. I’m Ron F***ing Swanson.”

And you’re born ready for 2024! (especially if you’ve got your planner ready!)

Share your Christmas surprises, Ron Swanson gems, and New Year’s plans below!

Happy Bookish New Year!
